About the Journal
Scripta Mechanica is an international, open-access journal published by the Italian Scientific Society of Mechanical and Machine Design (AIAS-ETS). The journal publishes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and case studies in mechanical engineering design and related disciplines.
The journal publishes original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and impactful case studies covering a wide array of topics, including mechanical design, stress analysis, numerical simulation, experimental mechanics, and materials behavior.
Committed to fostering innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, Scripta Mechanica provides a platform for high-quality, fast-tracked publications, ensuring timely dissemination of groundbreaking research.
Current Issue
Articles published in Online First are peer-reviewed, accepted manuscripts that are published online before being assigned to a specific journal issue. These articles are fully citable with DOI and represent the final version of record, but have not yet been paginated or assigned to a volume/issue. Online First publication accelerates the dissemination of research by making articles available immediately upon acceptance, while the traditional issue compilation process continues in parallel.
